Meet Goretti, the first student from our program who has found gainful employment. We couldn't be prouder of her achivements!
Goretti is from the Pre Vocational class and has been placed in a student/employee program. This program allows her to continue her studies (working on her interpersonal and social skills) while also being employed at Ubuntu. This means, for the first time in the history of Ubuntu, we will have an employee from our own program! What an achievement!
Achievements like Goretti's are the reason that Ubuntu was founded - to give hope to everyone. We know that Goretti will be a shining example as we show the community of Maai Mahiu and Kenya just what our kids are capable of doing.
As more and more students graduate from the Vocational Program, we hope the community will embrace them and give them opportunities to show them what we see - everyday workers with limitless potential.
