It's been two years since we have seen our daughter Grace and our son-in-law, Cory. We have missed them terribly, and so now fully vaccinated we traveled to Michigan and spent a glorious couple of weeks with them. It's the simple things that have meant the most — chatting for hours, sharing meals, and going on hikes.
Yesterday, we arrived in Austin to reconnect with our Texas family of friends and supporters. We are excited to once again engage and update you on the incredible progress of the kids in our health and education programs. In concert with Zane and Amal, we have organized dinners, barbecues, and happy hours. We are overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of our US Tribe, who have jumped at the opportunity to host fundraising events. Our goal is to raise enough to cover our 2022 overheads and program needs.
