Giving Tuesday 2021: Support Our School Lunch ...

Every month we spend $1,065 to feed and provide clean drinking water for the 40 full-time kids in our education program. Nutritious and balanced meals have an enormous positive impact on the health of our kids and significantly reduce the economic burden on parents in Maai Mahiu, where the land is semi-arid and food production is low.

After more than ten months, Kenyan schools will likely reopen on January 4th. With this in mind, we gathered outdoors with Ubuntu Kids and their parents in the cool grassy shade of the Acacia Trees between our organic vegetable garden and our soon to be completed Children’s Wellness Centre (CWC).
